Qt World Summit 2015, OCTOBER 5-7, BERLIN, GERMANY Secure, Realtime Connectivity for Connected Devices & IoT: When developing realtime applications in the lab, connectivity is fairly easy. With a couple of devices and a server running on the back end, connectivity is seamless and low latent. However, deploying in the wild to thousands and even millions of users simultaneously is a whole different ball game. This presentation will outline how thousands of developers use the PubNub Data Stream Network to enable secure, reliable, and high-speed 2-way communications across any number of connected devices, globally. It will further address how to navigate network drop-offs with devices that may be turned off, out of power, or not ready for use. Specific case examples will include Connected Car and Smart Home.
