Qt World Summit 2015, OCTOBER 5-7, BERLIN, GERMANY Qt in IoT context : connected alarm-clock: This presentation aims at offering a Qt application connected to the Cloud on an embedded device, while highlighting some of Qt5 major features (OpenGL acceleration, multitouch areas, shader effects…). This project highlights the following points: - Webservices for getting weather, news, time, and other useful information as you wake - Communication with a WIFI bulb light for simulating a slowly rising light with a dedicated color A live demo on an iMX6 embedded system will demonstrate the connected Qt alarm-clock.
