    Introduction to Functional Safety & Security, LDRA, {Qt Virtual Tech Con 2020}

    There is increasing demand for QT based GUI driven applications in the safety critical sectors, where software development has never been a trivial undertaking. The software development processes laid down by functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 (industry), IEC 62304 (medical), and ISO 26262 (automotive) have always required rigorous implementation.
